The Arc of Alachua County, Inc. provides an umbrella of services for the developmentally disabled. We are an affiliated chapter of The ARC of the United States, a national organization on mental retardation, and The Arc of Florida.

The Arc of Alachua County is a 501(c)(3) non-profit service organization supported in part by: the United Way of Alachua County, memberships, businesses, and contributions from the general public.  The Arc Launches Entrepreneurial Programs

  The latest Addition to the Entrepreneurial Programs offered by The Arc of Alachua County is the “Gone Forever” Shredding business. This program will enable many of our consumers to work and learn while helping The Arc to gain a revenue source that may provide direct services and enhancements for the people it serves. “Gone Forever” offers the community many benefits and is environmentally friendly.
